Are Variac and industrial dimmer different KEVOR products?
No. KEVOR uses both names for the same variable auto transformer family. Use the required voltage range, current rating, phase and application to specify the unit.
Is a Variac the same as a servo stabilizer?
No. A Variac provides adjustable AC voltage; a complete servo stabilizer adds voltage sensing and automatic motor-driven correction. Choose according to whether you need adjustment or automatic regulation.
Does a Variac provide electrical isolation?
An auto transformer does not provide galvanic isolation between input and output. Any isolation requirement needs a separately specified suitable arrangement.
